Depends on circumstance, but many people tender at the bottom end of the band as you will get taken out at the clearing price anyway due to the nature of the Dutch auction, and this removes the risk of being left with the shares post offer expiry which is frequently accompanied by a price drop.

I totally agree with tendering at the minimum price. If the final price is higher than the minimum, you still get the final price, not the minimum even though you said you’d take the minimum.
